OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HYGIENE TRAINING
In implementing the provisions of Labor Code No. 45/2019/QH14 dated November 20, 2019 and Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP dated May 15, 2016 of the Government detailing some articles of the Law on Occupational safety and hygiene on activities of technical inspection of occupational safety, training of occupational safety and sanitation and monitoring of occupational environment, PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution Joint Stock Company annually prepares an occupational safety and hygiene plan and coordinates with training centers that have the functions of training all employees about OSH and first-aid procedures in accordance with provisions of law. Employees are classified into 06 categories as set out in Article 17 of Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP dated May 15, 2016.
FIRST AID TRAINING, FIRE AND EXPLOSION PREVENTION, AND RESCUE TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES
In implementing the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting, Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting dated November 22, 2013, and Circular No. 149/2020/TT-BCA dated December 31, 2020 of the Ministry of Public Security, PV GAS D has coordinated with local fire and rescue police departments (FRPDs) in organizing fire prevention training courses for employees that are working in environments with fire and explosion hazards, as well as members of local fire and rescue teams. For fire prevention and fighting teams, the staff and officers are also trained about rescue practices as set out in Decree No. 83/2017/ND-CP dated July 18, 2017 of the Government regulating the rescue and rescue works of the fire prevention and fighting force.
When the whole staff and officers are coached and trained according to the specified contents and duration, they must undergo and pass a test before being certified. The goal is to make sure that the whole staff and officers meet requirements and are certified.
